European Fair Play Movement and Polish Veterans Fencing Federation Sign MoU for Fair Play and Inclusion
European Fair Play Movement and Federacja Weteranów Szermierki (POL) Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Promote Fair Play, Inclusion, and Lifelong Participation in Sport
The European Fair Play Movement and the Federacja Weteranów Szermierki (POL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in promoting fair play, inclusion, ethical sport, and lifelong participation in physical activity.
The partnership brings together two organizations committed to the values of respect, integrity, equality, friendship, and social responsibility through sport. The agreement supports joint initiatives in veteran fencing, wheelchair and disabled fencing, education, and the promotion of healthy and active lifestyles.
The Federacja Weteranów Szermierki is Poland’s only national organization dedicated exclusively to veteran fencing and fencing for athletes with disabilities. Through competitions, training activities, and international representation, the Federation promotes sporting excellence and fair play among athletes of all ages and abilities.
Founded in 1994, the European Fair Play Movement works across Europe to advance fair play in sport, education, and everyday life, promoting ethical values, social cohesion, and respect for human dignity.
Under the agreement, both organizations will cooperate on projects that encourage inclusion, intergenerational exchange, leadership development, and equal opportunities in sport. They will also jointly promote their activities through events, websites, publications, and social media channels.
The MoU reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to the principles of the Olympic Movement, the European Union, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, recognizing sport as a powerful tool for health, education, and positive social change.
