2023 EUROPEAN FAIR PLAY MOVEMENT “FAIR PLAY VOX” Award, under the auspices of the AIPS Europe goes to STUDIO DREAMWALL & PANATHLON WALLONIE-BRUXELLES (BEL)

“Le Fair-Play c’est tous les jours”: a video clip that demonstrates the universal pathway of Fair Play.

In September 2022, in partnership with the animation and graphics studio, DreamWall, a clip has been created for the 2022 edition of the World Fair Play Day. The video features photos of Fair Play gestures from the IOC archives, as well as video sequences of top-level sportsmen and sportswomen demonstrating Fair Play and, in particular, “to-camera” pieces by individuals speaking in their native language (*), emphasising that Fair Play is something that happens every day. (*) French, English, Dutch, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Albanian, sign language, Hindi, Tamil, Swahili, Urdu, Turkish and Arabic. This video clip has been widely distributed in Belgium and internationally. This video clip was broadcasted on September 7th by the IOC and the World Fair Play Day partner institutions, counting more than 200 shares and more than 20,000 views on social networks. Since then, this video continues to be broadcasted during major sports events (for example the closing ceremony of the European Youth Olympic Festival) or during animations realized by the Panathlon Wallonie-Bruxelles. This video clip “Le Fair-Play c’est tous les jours » illustrates the fact that: Fair Play is not only a matter of sport, but should become an everyday state of mind; sport is a universal language that everyone understands; Everyone has a role to play for a sport and a society with more fair play.
