I graduated from University of Eastern Finland as the Master of Arts. Since 1994 I have worked as a lecturer in Upper Secondary Schools and teaching History, Social Studies, Economics, Law and Philosophy aot.

Positions and responsibilities:

• CSIT (International Workers and Amateurs Sports Confederation) Executive Committee, vice-president (youth and young leaders-activities)
• TUL (The Finnish Workers Sport Association) board, vice-president
• The Stadium Foundation (Helsinki Olympic Stadium) board member
• The Sports Institute (Pajulahti) Foundation delegation member
• Municipal Councilor and the vice chairman of the board in the Municipality of Vihti
• Official representantative of TUL in EFPM General Assembly
• Member of the Board of Auditors of the European Fair Play Movement
