RunChallenge Bratislava Project Receives Fair Play Award
On 20 May, the RunChallenge Bratislava project was honored with a major international recognition. Ľubo Hrčka, who brought the initiative to Slovakia, received the Fair Play Club Award from the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee for his active role in promoting and spreading the principles of fair play in sport.
Originally launched in Italy, the RunChallenge project is an inclusive sports initiative designed to encourage people worldwide to participate in physical activity and express their best selves in a spirit of mutual respect and harmony. The project aims to make sport accessible to everyone, with a particular focus on individuals with frailty or reduced physical capacity.
Organizers emphasize that RunChallenge is committed to making sport truly inclusive and accessible, supporting participation regardless of physical ability.
In Bratislava, open training sessions are held every Thursday at 4:30 PM at Sad Janka Kráľa park, welcoming everyone interested in joining this inclusive sporting community.
