2019 EUROPEAN FAIR PLAY MOVEMENT “SPIRIT OF FAIR PLAY” Award goes to FRIENDSHIP LEAGUE IN CULTURE AND SPORT ASSOCIATION (ISR)

The Friendship League is a women’s social sports league in catch-ball whose aim is to build a better society out of the belief that everyone has the right to take part in  sports without  discrimination of any kind, such as religion, race, sex, national or social origin, property, birth, age or other status. The League organizes  training once a week, and tournaments that contribute to bringing communities closer together through physical activity and fair play These activities have led to the dissemination of values such  as tolerance, respect, teamwork and inclusion, which  promote  reconciliation and bridge-building between cultures and religions in society through sport. Strengthening the connection between communities to create a better neighborhood: Druze, Circassia’s Bedouins, Christians, Muslims and Jewish people came to play together; thereby stating “we want to be together”!
