EFPM General Assembly Held Online in Ljubljana

The European Fair Play Movement (EFPM) General Assembly was officially held on 29 April 2026 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in an online format, with 22 members participating remotely, while members of the Executive Committee attended from the Slovenian Olympic Educational Centre.

The Assembly was chaired by EFPM President Philippe Housiaux and Vice-President Robert Perc and brought together member organisations from across Europe to review the organisation’s progress and future priorities.

The event opened with a welcome address delivered via video message by Spiros Kapralos, President of the European Olympic Committees (EOC).

Uroš Mohorič, PhD, Director General of the Slovenian National Olympic Committee – Association of Sports Federations, welcomed the Executive Committee members in person at the Slovenian Olympic Educational Centre and wished them a successful meeting.

During the meeting, delegates approved reports and financial matters, adopted the 2026–2027 Action Plan and budget, and discussed amendments to the EFPM Statutes.

The Assembly also approved the admission of three associated members and two honorary members, reflecting the continued growth and expanding network of the organisation across Europe.

Additional discussions focused on communication development, new partnerships, European projects, and upcoming initiatives aimed at strengthening the visibility and practical impact of fair play values in sport.

The General Assembly marked another important step in promoting ethics, respect, integrity, and cooperation through sport across Europe.
