2020 EUROPEAN FAIR PLAY PLAQUE of MERIT and DIPLOMA (Organisation) goes to FRANZ KLAMMER FOUNDATION (AUT)

Franz Klammer Foundation was established in 1999 by Franz Klammer, downhill olymic champion, overall world cup downhill champion, world champion. The aim of the foundation is to represent common public interest and support of men and women, who came into personal troubles caused by sport.  It supports sportsmen & -women, who do not have support of insurances, friends or family or who need personal support to get back on track. Franz Klammer Foundation is organizing specific medical treatments with direct support with a group of medical specialist. Moreover the Franz Klammer Foundation supports empowerment of physical and mentally handicapped sportswomen/-men enabling comebacks, social/ economic handicapped kids in enabling specific sports, educations programs, donating sports equipment for youth institutions. Franz Klammer Foundation supports only with non-cash benefits. Since its establishment has supported more than 200 sportswomen & -men.
