2022 EUROPEAN FAIR PLAY MOVEMENT “DIPLOMA FOR RECOGNITION” goes to PEDRO RAPOSO (POR)

Pedro Raposo is a young judoka who in December 2020 suffered a serious injury
in his cervical spine in a national training camp and had to underwent
emergency surgery.
A year after his operation and against all expectations of an injury of that
severity, the young athlete presented himself in the national team training camp
to rejoin them and help his colleagues to achieve their sportive goals.
Pedro never turned his back on the fight and never refused to help his
colleagues during the trainings, always showing himself available for any type of
training.
In this way, this athlete showed an inexplicable fair play, Pedro could have
lowered his arms, could have given up from judo, could not help his colleagues
in training but none of this happened thanks to his amazing fair play.
Pedro is a real fighter with a inexplicable fair play. On the past year he become
